Fellow writers, I got something for ya!

Hi, friends It’s been a while since I’ve posted. And I’m sorry. My family and I moved into a new home and we’ve been busy for the past month or so. Anyhow, now that we’re comfortably settled (for now), I woke up with a felt need to share something I’m pretty sure will benefit you.

When it comes to writing-blog posts, books, newsletters…-and the type of content you’re currently writing, or want to write in the future, I think you’ll find the lists below helpful. I hope so, anyway. These are the resources and tools I’ve used in the past. Some of which I still use today.

That said, I HOPE you find what you’ve been looking for. And when you do…HAPPY writing!

~Jannette

Paid Resources & Courses

COMPEL (For nonfiction Christian writers.) NOTE: A few years ago I took this course and learned so much. Everything you want to know about writing, blogging, editing, publishing and marketing can be found in this God-centered writing community. But I decided to leave upon feeling led to work on my fiction writing as well.

Elite Blog Academy (For nonfiction writers.)

Mimika Cooney Training (For nonfiction Christian writers.) I’m currently taking the entire course, which is full of super helpful resources and tools. I’ve learned so much from Mimika! I know it’s pricey, but SO worth it. NOTE: I was very fortunate to have won the Grand Prize package of…Every. Single. Course. And I am SO grateful! Mimika is very knowledgeable and encouraging…Her teachings are invaluable. Her books are as well.

The FlourishWriters Academy (For nonfiction Christian writers.)

Wordsmith Workshops (For all writers.) NOTE: Last night I attended my first Zoom meeting (I signed up for the Wordsmith Online/Monthly Seminar for $10.00) where author Nadine Brandes talked about building your author platform, all things Instagram, finding and interacting with your audience and much more. It was awesome! Nadine is one of my favorite authors. She writes fantastical books and makes me laugh! 🙂

Your Kingdom Calling & Writer Mentorship Program by Rachel Starr Thompson (For nonfiction & fiction Christian writers.) This course provides more than writing and marketing tips, it also helps one to identify what their calling is as a creative. Rachel is so humble, authentic, loving and passionate when it comes to helping others find their God-given gifts. Along with helping them to pursue their dreams. Rachel has a HUGE heart for God and it shows with her passion to help others with their Christian walk, and their personal relationship with Him. NOTE: A few years ago, I prayed to God for the finances needed to purchase this course. And after a short while, He answered my prayer through Rachel Starr Thomson herself! She blessed me with a lifetime access to her course.
